Good Faith Estimate for Health Care Items and Services

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to give patients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of expected charges for medical items and services.

This Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your therapy care. The estimate is based on information known at the time it's created. It does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment.

Diagnosis & Treatment Description

Outpatient psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. The specific diagnosis and course of treatment are determined collaboratively with your provider and may be adjusted as treatment progresses.

Estimated Fee Schedule — Standard Sessions

  • Individual session (50 min.) — CPT 90837 / 90834 — $170

  • Couples session (50 min.) — CPT 90847 — $190

  • Extended couples session (2 hrs., back-to-back) — CPT 90847 × 2 — $420

  • Double session (1 hr. 50 min.) — CPT 90847 (×2) — $430

  • Family session (1 hr. 50 min.) — CPT 90847 — $440

Double and Family sessions are extended-length appointments (1 hour, 50 minutes) billed as a single session at the rates shown above.

Couples EFT Intensives

Couples EFT Intensives are a distinct format of care from standard weekly sessions — condensed, multi-hour or multi-day formats built around Emotionally Focused Therapy. Because the scope, structure, and total cost of an Intensive differ substantially from ongoing weekly care, they're estimated separately below.

  • 4-Hour Intensive — $860
    Two 110-minute conjoint sessions, separated by a break

  • 1-Day Intensive — $1,720
    120-min. intake, break, two individual sessions (75–90 min. each), short break, 30–50 min. closing conjoint session

  • 3-Day Intensive — $5,160
    Day 1 as above; Days 2–3 each include two 90–120 min. conjoint sessions with a break (optional brief individual check-ins as needed); Day 3 closes with a summary session
